The formula originated in Cuba during the COVID pandemic, when Adrián decided to step away from harsh chemical products and began creating his own natural blends. After moving to the United States, he reformulated everything from scratch to adapt to the climate, water, and humidity, achieving a professional-grade product with results visible from the very first application.

Efecto Espejo® is built on experience, discipline, and a deep respect for hair integrity. Behind the brand is the professional journey of its founder, Adrián Fonseca, whose background combines artistic sensitivity, technical precision, and real salon practice.
Born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, Adrián developed an early attention to detail and aesthetics, influenced by a creative environment and a strong work ethic. His initial interest in visual arts continues to shape his approach to professional hair care, where technique and finish are equally important.
Before fully dedicating himself to the hair industry, Adrián trained in accounting, strengthening his analytical and structured thinking—skills that later became essential in developing consistent hair care processes and formulations. His time in Havana, working alongside cultural and artistic institutions, further expanded his creative and professional perspective.
Adrián formally entered the hair industry through barbering and professional hairstyling, gaining hands-on experience in traditional salons and artistic exhibitions. This foundation shaped his philosophy: healthy hair results require respect for the hair fiber, controlled techniques, and products that support long-term hair health.
